Description

The second album from English prog keyboardist and composer Rick Wakeman, with concept based on Jules Verne´s eponymous science fiction novel. The album is a live recording of his second of two concerts on 18 January 1974 at the Royal Festival Hall in London. Wakeman performs with the London Symphony Orchestra, the English Chamber Choir and a group of hand-picked musicians for his rhythm section.

This new Deluxe edition features the album remastered at Abbey Road (by Andrew Walter) with an additional previously unheard bonus track The Pearl and Dean Piano Concerto (Royal Festival Hall 1974). The DVD-Audio features a quad surround sound mix and a hi-res stereo mix – both supervised and approved by Rick Wakeman.
